Sustainability, Health and Safety must go hand in hand. This is a time to approach building in these terms, where the holistic view becomes relevant in order to move towards more humane, healthy, productive, self-sufficient, naturalized buildings and cities that respond to the needs to live a full life.
Spaces as a health tool
To deepen and debate all these aspects, the sixth edition of the Architecture and Health Congress will take place on June 9, organized by the Architecture and Sustainability Group of the COAC, the Architecture and Health Working Group of the COAC, together with Bioarquitectura Mediterránea (BaM) and the Geobiological Studies Association (GEA).
The Congress is structured in 2 blocks that include a conference and a round table each. The first part will revolve around the "Most sustainable, healthy and inclusive buildings" and the second will be on the "Quality of the interior environment as health promotion".
This edition of the Congress is free, but prior registration is required.

In 2006, the COAC and the CCCB hosted the First International Congress on Health and Habitat, organized by the GEA Association . To commemorate the 15th anniversary, this year the Congress of Architecture and Health uses the same image of that first congress, which, for many, meant the initiation of the world of health in relation to habitat. Over the years, the COAC continues with its commitment to citizens to ensure the health and well-being of people through architecture.
